Wife and I had a small 40lb GSP in our apartment for awhile and she was good well trained and listened. She was the best bird hunting dog I’ve ever had! We already had the parents so.... but yes make sure and meet the parents, make sure there good bird dogs!

I have a GSP so I am biased in that regard. However, I could hardly recommend a GSP in an apartment unless you get one that is not a puppy. A mature dog that is well trained might be fine.
