Here is a pic of Bill and the caribou he took in the NWT. He said that most of the people in camp took bigger palmated caribou. He is tickled with this one for he liked the way it is with the backward tines. He also stated that his leg couldnt take another mountain.(Remember him breaking his leg during the summer)

I was south of Norman Wells N. W.T. in the Mackenzie Mountains. One of the most beautiful spots that I have hunted. Most of the Caribou that were killed that week ran in the 350/400 Boone and Crocket but with my leg I knew I only had that mountain left in me.One person was hunting Moose and killed a bull with a 63 inch spreed. I saw two 50/54s and one that was 65 or better.Grizzly,Moose,Mountain Caribou, Dall Sheep and wolves were the primary animals of the area.
