Big game are tough with a will to survive

First bow kill ever back in '84 had a healed over broadhead in a hindquarter...got a nasty cut while skinning.

My dads Idaho moose had a 22 bullet in its butt.

I found a dead spike elk one spring with a broken lower jaw and thought that would be a miserable way to go; after boiling it out I discovered it’s skull was full of bird shot. Most likely from a sage grouse hunter trying to poach it or a farmer “protecting” his potato fields

Their will to go on and is amazing. The damage Ive seem in animals that showed no outward signs of injury is numerous. I hurt my back sneezing. Deer can calk around with multiple compound fractures and you wouldnt know it.
