I will be solo hunting the northwoods near Big Fin's old stomping grounds. This guy just began to come in during the daylight so when the wind is right I'll strike. The amount of wolves I have on camera makes me less than thrilled about quartering him in the woods at night. What do you all think he weighs?

I'd put him at about 300-350. Although it's cut off, it's gut doesn't look very far off the ground.

I hope to shoot him this weekend, he's expensive to keep on the bait. I can only check the baits once a week so I load it up each time to keep him around. He goes through about 250 pounds of bait a week.

Dressed out I'd bet he's over 350 lbs. That's one heck of a belly on him! Let us know what he weighs when you shoot him this weekend!

Do you have another picture of its head facing the camera. I hate to say it but based on the head and body structure. I would say its a sow.

He is tubby! "Weebles wobble but they don't fall down", hope in this case he falls down for ya!

Nice bear. Hard to tell from the picture, but I would guess around 300.
