Bear of a lifetime

By far my biggest bear. Not sure on weight, but fish and game measured the skull at 28 13/16". Squared over 10 feet.

CA Bear from last fall. Such a great challenge chasing this guy for several years.
19.75” skull. Probably weighed around 400 lbs. Rendered a ton of fat and ground a pile of meat. Extremely tasty

too bad the ole freak in the sheets bailed on us, he killed a killer B&C bear in AK this year.

This is just an avg bear, never measured him. Maybe I'll do that tonight. Based on the packout, I'd say like weight was 275 ish.

This is one of my bigger bears. Not sure how heavy, I'd guess around 400, but totally a guess, due to cutting him up to pack him out .

Ha, Both of them I actually told myself, I wasn't gonna keep anymore bear hides, since i have quite a few. But he was such a cool bear, I thought I'd take out the portion I'd need to make a half mount at least! He has some pretty cool blazes on his chest also!

Had two solid bears on camera that year, this guy and another blackie. The black one even paid me a visit while I was skinning my chocolate bear above, as he walked up to me from upwind and we had a 30 second face-off. Didn't catch him again during daylight for the next couple years but I'm positive he stuck around, until he got comfortable enough to show face during the rut. 20 3/8s.

I wasn't able to weigh him, but definitely was a big one. My guide thought crowding 500 pounds.
