Get a 1 helmet crook pot.

Get a 1# bag of Pinto beans, or Kidney beans, or Navy beans.

Get 1# of stew meat. Pig, deer, elk, bear, moose, 'coon, rabbit, 'possum, or whatever.

Put beans, meat and water into the crook pot,
just about an inch of fill.

Toss in a couple beef bouillon cubes, a pinch of sage, a sprinkle of oragano, a sprinkle of black pepper, and 4 or 5 good shots of Texas Pete.

Set the pot on low, when you go to bed and turn it off when you get up.

Freezable.

Cornbread recipe to follow.

Don't let this get around; but, if you'll put a teaspoon of baking soda into your soak water and then change your soak water for fresh before cooking there will be very little swamp gas to give away your position!
