The city council of Baltimore, Maryland, has adopted an ordinance that makes it a misdemeanor to sell or give a BB gun to those under 18, an act that’s now punishable with a $500 fine and 2 months in jail. The measure stems from an incident where the brother of city council Vice-President, Stephanie C. Rawlings Blake, was robbed and stabbed outside her home by two 15 year olds wielding a knife and a BB gun.
