I just wanted to give an update to this post. I ended up getting a scouting package through an outfitter in the area and was very pleased. We ended up harvesting a 290” heavy horned 5x5. The intel he gave us was worth what he charged. He scouted before hand and found out where the elk weren’t at which was just as good as where they were at. Definitely went above and beyond what his contract stated. Even checked in on us during his hunt with a different client to see how we were doing. Thanks to those who did offer a hand on here before, like all the locals I ran into down there, you AZ folk are good people. Thanks for letting me hunt your state.
