Well I got "dumb lucky" again and this time got drawn for Arizona Unit 27 (Apache-Sitgreaves NF, Blue Range), which is supposed to be a very good unit for large elk. Dates are 16-29 Sept. Do any of you have experience in this unit, words of advice, best areas, etc? It is a big area.

Congratulations on the tag! I would go on the AZGFD website and look the unit up. They give pretty reliable info about the different animals in the unit and give some pretty good starting points. Map it out and/or Google Earth from those spots.
