Hi All, I am attempting to survive application season without Go Hunt for the first time. Its not going great!

Idaho has geo-blocked me so can't access their website.

And now I am struggling to find useful draw odds for Arizona to help with my sons application there. I did ask AZ Fish and Game for the elk NR odds for each point level but they pointed me to what I had already seen which is, I think, the resident draw odds.

Anyway, are AZ non resident draw odds for elk, at each point level, available online anywhere?

You should get a VPN to avoid the geoblock, or PM me and I can download and email you reports you want.

Good idea, I can't access Utah Fish and Game either so a VPN would be useful. Thanks.

I've liked using Hunters Trailhead in the past. It's not perfect, but for $35/year it ain’t bad.

If you want something specific I can send you some screen shots from go hunt
Thanks. I am just looking for a great, very hard to draw unit, which I think I’ve found. Rather than just apply for a point I thought I just go for a long shot.

I've looking at the AZ 2026 elk hunts and checking the 2025 harvest reports. I was confused as the hunt numbers don't match, which I thought was weird.

I was worried I was misreading the reports some how. But is appears a 2025 hunt (3001) has been removed and the hunt codes for 2026 have been reduced by one?

Am I going mad or has AZ Fish and Game changed the codes?

Every year my hunt codes change by 1. You have to look at them each year.

Ok, good to know. I will need to factor this in when looking at the harvest and draw odds for previous years.

Im totally opposed to the draw systems. Every state should issue unlimited tags for anyone who wants one. Deer Antelope Elk Sheep Mt Goat or Bear. Each species tag should cost $100 and Non resident $500. The one exception should be that all season date openers are the same time That way you could legally hunt all species at the same time. The season should open on a Saturday morning and Close that Sunday. No draw everyone gets a tag Everyone is happy

Like mentioned above. The unit numbers can change from year to year and some can rotate through different weapons especially early seasons

Sounds like New Zealand. But we don’t have seasons :)
