My son is attempting to build supports for a local trap range that would allow hadicapped individulals a support for their shotguns while shooting. He is doing this as his Eagle Scout project. However, he can not find any plans or blueprints to follow. Any assistance would be appriciated.

One location I found which mentioned handicapped tables is a complex in IL. Their site is (www.familyshooterscorral.com/) and they list a phone number. If contacted they could possibly provide him with plans or direct him to a source. NRA also has a Disabled Shooting Sports Program which he could possibly run down for assistance. Wish him luck on an admirable project.

Have a bud at work from WY who before he started college crashed and is a wheel chair. I will pass this on to him because he is always looking to do what he can help. Worked his way through college being an aide to old folks and has been an engineer for years.

Talked to my friend last night. This is what his comment was-

*I don't have any personal experience with this, but I have seen guys on TV and in the newspaper who shoot from their wheelchairs so I know there must be something out there. Search using the word "adaptive"

Also contact Craig Hospital recreation department in Englewood Colorado. They have extensive programs for spinal cord and brain injury patients. I'm sure they know who in the country works with handicapped hunters/shooters.*
