Arizona quail?

Hey all, visiting family for Thanksgiving and will be in Arizona that weekend. Planning on going after some quail one of the days. I'll be in Buckeye. I have a couple nearby wildlife areas that look pretty good but worried about a lot of hunters being out there.

My question is how will the pressure be that weekend? Should I expect a ton of hunters being out and about? Should I try to find something further from town? How's the quail hunting this year?

This will be my first time hunting in AZ.

I know it’s to late now but did you get any quail? If not let me know I’ll give you some pointers for next time you come out. Quail hunting has been difficult this year.

heading out next week for quail javelina and deer in 16a. go every year and hardly ever run into people!
