Does anyone know if there is very much public land to elk hunt on in 6a, 5bs? Or what about 18b for antelope?

Lots of public land in those elk units. I'm not familiar with the antelope unit.

I was in 6A several years ago helping a friend on his archery bull tag and it's almost all public land and a cool area to hunt with a lot of elk and too many hunters!

You have TONS of public land access for elk hunting in both 6A and 5BS.

6A > probably has highest concentration of elk in the state (tho not known for larger "trophy" bulls); use your noggin to get away from people. 5BS > good chance at nice bull if you work at it; no problem finding elk.

Biggest obstacle in 18B for antelope is ORO Ranch (100,000-acres), with other land closed to the public (checkerboard). Decent access other than that. You can do search on Unit 18B > Ariz G&F site.

Good luck!
