I know we have alot of archery hunters on here, both experienced and new ones. I was interested to know what equipment we all shoot....

Mathews Z7 and a Switchback as a back up
QAD arrow rests
TruGlo sights
G5 peeps
Mathews T5 quiver and TruGlo Loc Down on the Switchback
Easton ST Excel 340 arrows with Blazer vanes
Shuttle T broadheads

Bowtech Guardian
Quik Loc quiver
Trophy taker shaky hunter rest.
Copper John Dead Nutz sight
11" Doinker stabilizer
Goldtip Hunter XL 7595
Sonic COC 125gr broadhead.

I have been bowhunting off an on since the mid 80's. My current set up is a Hoyt Cybertech with a Black Gold Rush sight, Rip Cord rest, Easton Axis Arrows, VPA 100 gr non vented heads (just bought), 100 gr Grim Reapers (just bought), Tru Ball Tornado release and picking up a Tight Spot Quiver soon. The Kwikee Quiver is not cutting it and my hip quiver is worse. I also have a few 100gr Magnus Buzzcuts, 100 gr Muzzy's and 100gr Razor Tricks still left. Always in search of a better broadhead!

This will be my third fall with a bow and I still have A LOT to figure out. My friend that got me into it decided he wanted to be a dentist and left for school, so I've been left to myself to learn the ropes.

My set up is a Diamond Justice with a whisker biscuit and copper john sights, and I shoot Beaman 340s with muzzy broadheads.

I have a new set up for this years as I finally upgraded.

PSE Xforce AXE 6
Carbon Express Maxima Hunter 250 arrows
Tru Ball Assassin release
Rage 2 blade 100gr broadheads
Black Gold Flashpoint
Whisker biscuit

Holy crap...I just realized the "pro shop" just put a RH sight on upside down on my left handed bow. grrr.......

Definately not the latest and greatest but I wanted to make sure I'd be into archery with a mid range model rather than spend all the money and hate it. Luckily its my 3rd year shooting and definately going to do it for a long time. I see a Mathews in my future...just afraid to shoot one or it will be sooner than later.

My old Tundra has served me well over the years, taking a Shiras Bull, 1/2 dozen Bull Elk, several P&Y class Antelope, a 157 gross Whitetail, several nice whitetails and was packed on a long, hard hunt for Big Horn Sheep. It still works and I still have faith in it, but it is time to upgrade!

Bowtech General 72 pounds, 30"
QAD rest.
Black Gold, Flashpoint sight/ peap sight on the string with the elastic thingy.
Octane quiver and stabilizer.
Easton Epic 340's, topped with Thunderhead 100's.

It's my first season with the bow. Bought it at a giveaway price from a guy that hit a tree on his ATV going 25 mph.....

Confidence is 100% out to 40 yards, still need some work to improve out to 60 yards. It's a different grip and I keep canting the bow slightly that affects longer shots....By late August I'll be 100% at 60 yards.

I sold my 2001 model Darton, Kinda with I'd of hung on to it for a back up. Killed a pile of deer, antelope and elk with that bow....

Fisk American Wolf 64" longbow
65# @ 28"
rug rest
Port Orford cedar with Woodsman heads

I filled 4 elk tags in a row and killed a bunch of other stuff with this bow. Have also ate some tag soup.
