anybody fish for pompano?

We had a friend over to do a video tonight on how to catch-em.
AWESOME!
He caught the first one about 30 seconds after throwing into the surf

The limit is 3 so we could only keep 6.
We had to put about 15 back

I now have the tips to SLAY those babies!

Our best season to visit are the 1st 2 weeks of may and anytime in October that there is no hurricane in the Gulf

We continued the video at daylight this morning and maxed out in 1 hour.
I really am ot that into fishing,
But I REALLY LIKE CATCHING!

I hooked a big redfish that almost spooled me
I wirked on him for about 45 minutes and lost him because I don't like to use leaders
Oh well....It sure would have been cool for the video
