I watched part of last nights game and it came into more focus for me. The Wild certainly got better when they added Hughes, but they didn't fix their problem. Their top line is clearly now one of the best. Blue Jackets put a defensive/checking line matchup on them so it wasn't 1 vs 1. It was effective most of the game, and the Blue Jackets are mediocre team. I will be looking to see if this happens to them more on the road for the rest of the season as the home team gets last change. It is going to happen in the playoffs for sure.

I (wife and friends) happened to be in Minneapolis for junior hockey showcase so we got tickets for the Wild vs Capitals game.
Was my first NHL game it was super fun.

Was a good game. I missed most the third, but otherwise they look amazing with most the team healthy. Nice to be able to watch the third and fourth line have skill instead of the Iowa wild...

I like that our third line right now is Tarasenko, Trenin and Yurov. The only improvement I could see before the trade deadline is possibly seeing if we could get someone else to center the top line. Hartman, Zucc and Kaprizov isn't bad but I think Hartman just fits better on that 4th line with Foligno and either Vinny/Sturm.

Saw an article wishing we'd make a move for Crosby. That would be something but I don't think it has any chance of happening myself
