I don't have any real dislike of the Leafs but at this point it's kind of like the Cubs in baseball until their breakthrough, or the motor city kitties in football--always a new year to choke!
They and the Wild like to complete on that front. The Wild have made 11 of the last 13 playoffs. I think it is 9 playoffs in a row without making it out of the first round which is quite remarkable that they can keep that stat going.

What I should do is place $1000 on Vegas straight up. If I lose the bet, I'll at least be extremely happy that I'll likely get to head to see them play in the next round and won't care about losing the money. If Vegas wins, at least I'll be $600 richer.
