Anther MT youth hunt deer

My son got this buck on Thursday during the Montana youth hunt. He did it all from spotting the buck to getting in position for the shot on his own. The buck was bedded and never got up.

This wasn't his first buck. That was a spike He is 15 and this was his last youth hunt. We have enjoyed them immensely and think it is a great opportunity. I bought that BDL for myself years ago and I love that gun but it may have found a new owner He does really well with it.

I have two sons and they've each claimed "early inheritance" on their first deer harvest rifle... I viewed it as just another opportunity to add a new rifle to the safe!
