An off morning

If we hadn’t had some terrible shooting we would have had our two man limit. Still a fun morning. Aframe stuck out bad in the pea field but still killed some geese. Couldn’t stick the girls in layouts.

Nice! Looks like a fun day. I just bought an A frame this year for the same purpose for when I take all the kids to keep them comfortable. Haven’t used it yet.

Always exceptions, but generally the nicer the weather, the tougher birds are to decoy.

edit: I should note that in my experience, A-frame blinds seem to negatively affect geese more than ducks.

For me it's the racket. Really pulls the dogs' chain too. I suspect it's also the chief reason they prefer pheasants over all other uplands.

Was my daughters first time going goose hunting. She loved that you could listen for them and then look around to find them
