After 7 years of waiting my wife was finally drawn for a Bull Moose tag in some of the farmland east of our farm.

As you can see from the pictures I think it was worth the wait.

The bull measured 51" and was shot in a Canola field.

We were able to drive the truck right up to it and had it gutted and loaded in 1 hour.

Not bad for her first moose.

That's not a bad moose, period. And it's an awesome moose if you can drive the truck up to it.

Great moose, even better when you're able to get a pickup to it.

Congrats. Being able to drive to it makes up for all the ones you might have carried out on your back.

That is a fine trophy and good photos to go with it. What size gun did she use? What ever it was it did the job so you could get the truck right to it. Congrats!
