American crocodiles thriving outside nuclear plant

I was actually lucky enough to see some of these guys on my last trip to South Florida during an airboat tour. It would be pretty cool if their numbers ever got high enough to allow some hunting.

I just saw this on Fox this morning. This place is part of the reason that the fresh-water croc has come back from the brink of extinction. They interviewed Jeff Corwin about it. They are there, because the water is a bit warmer during the cooler times.

On a more serious note I did have to avoid a Crocodile Dundee situation between my new pup and big gator.
