Montana native, then taken away to Georgia for five years in the Air Force. Now I've been back for a couple of years and am playing catch up on time lost in the Rockies. I am attempting archery for elk for the first time this year. One of my goals is to take a backcountry elk. I've recently been listening, heavily to MeatEater and HuntTalk podcasts. These podcasts have given me the realization of the importance of public land advocacy. They have also influenced my drive to go back to school in either wildlife biology or forestry. Anybody interested in hunting, fishing, beer drinking, and/or talking about said topics; then please hit me up.

TY for your service! I was AF as well, ended up in Panama and Dover. I tried to get all Rocky mountain bases, so Im a complete novice at western hunting
