Unreal bear and definitely interesting shooting it on the beach while it’s eating a whale

When we were in position I could only see the top of the bear’s head and part of his shoulder as he was sound asleep on the other side of the whale. My first shot hit him in the shoulder and I don’t even think he knew what happened. I shot 3 more times and he dropped behind the whale where we couldn’t see him. We crossed a small river and this is what I saw when I walked around the whale.

Thanks! We figure at least 150lbs. Felt about like a moose hindquarter. Actually tried to see if the pilot could come meet us on the beach and fly it out. No luck as the weather was too bad to fly for the next few days so back to camp it went.
