Afternoon snows

I was in Northeast Saskatchewan the last couple weeks of September. Been hunting there since early 90’s. Migration seemed to be at least 2 weeks behind normal. Snows just beginning to arrive. No Lesser Canadas. No diving ducks. Enough “ local” Canadas and puddle ducks for some good mornings. Just not the huge numbers that I have enjoyed in the past. Farmers were very happy with the weather and progress on harvest !!!
I have 2 seperate groups of friends, one is sask and the other in alberta. The ones in alberta shot 418 birds. Not sure how many birds were shot in sask but they are sending me videos of bird tornadoes, numbers have to be in the tens of thousands of birds. I should give up my rutcation and go with them one year just to experience it.

They have rolled in pretty good in the last week. With it being a drought here this year there is lots of areas that are devoid of water and birds this year
