I'm trying to land on SK2 aka light modified performance out of an A400. It seems, from what I can glean from internet posts, that chokes act about .005 tighter than labeled. As in they send a cylinder choke with the gun rather than an improved cylinder because that gives about a skeet pattern. Anyone running an IC or SK2/LM for everything?

My go-to field shotgun is an A400. I shoot a Kicks ported IC 0.010” constriction choke for doves. It kills everything as far as a #8 lead pellet can be expected to kill, 0-45 yards or so. If I miss it’s my fault not the gun or choke. But man, I do love the “wrong choke” excuse!

Mine varies greatly depending on loads. Muller decoy choke patterns about 60% at 40 yards with the non-tox loads i use for ducks. Patterning is the only way to know for sure.
