, to 'packin' anything less would be an injustice to them wild places. seems like you got all the gear sorted, what would your pack weigh for a 10-12 day trip? .. ds

That was an archery "trip" for me, but I ended up busting him w/ my buddy's .7mm, therefore a rifle "hunt".

Depends if I have my rifle in hand, or on my pack. Most the time it runs about 55 lbs. I've since did some shedding of my own and it may weigh less now. A lot of times I can pawn gear off to my partner if two of us are going. It would be nice to be down to 30 lbs, but I think I would be pushing my luck for a 10 day'r.

It is worth mentioning and if I owned something other than a bathroom scale, I would. Once my bag is packed for this trip I can post the weight to the lb, but ounces...forget that. I can probably pull some weights off of product sites.
