Gunner...have you shot the 140 AB's with the cannelure in the 7mm? Tried them on big-game?

I ordered 200 of those a few weeks back and I'm a little concerned about trying them on big-game. I know a couple guys, one on this board, that ran into some trouble with the cannelure in the partitions (bullets separating at the cannelure and getting 2 exits on game).

I shot them yesterday at the range to 600...seem to shoot no different.

Probably just use them on steel as I have a pretty good stash of the non-cannelured variety.

Buzz, Yeah I've shot some also, but they tracked the same as any other AB's. No game hits yet though. That cannelure is pretty slight compared to most other manufactures, so I'm not too concerned, especially at 2760fps at the muzzle. Maybe a 7mm Washbang Weatherblaster might disrupt the integrity, but I'm not loosing any sleep over it.

I agree. May try them on a cow elk this fall/winter if I get an opportunity.

I'm not expecting any problems or difference in performance.
