6.5 Creedmoor for elk

Hard to beat a 30 caliber. Is elk hunting the only use you will have for the rifle?

While I haven't tried it myself, I have been reading really good things about the 6.5 Creedmoor in the Hornady 143 grain ELDX round for big game. I just ran that round thru the Hornady H.I.T.S. calculator and it indicates that round is capable for elk size game out to 400 yards.
