The worst thing you can do for a good fishing hole is to mention it online.

Tough to draw permit-only for a 60 mile float that is already super popular, not too worried about that fishin hole. Might be a long time before I’m permitted to go back.

A river I have yet to fish, been hearing about it for 50 years, never made it happen. Looks like great country.

How did you like using the groovers?

I’ve drawn it twice, always in July never had near that good of fishing but always had a great time. Second time I had a torn ACL and still had a great time with a brace on. Always managed to find herps as well which makes me feel like a kid again ha. The bison skull was insane. Way up in there. There’s a spot with a bunch of huge crystals too that was pretty neat.

Thanks for sharing! That bison skull is so cool. With all the rain in the evenings we didn’t explore too much from camp. You found some real treasures!

The groover was pretty nasty especially splitting it with a buddy. The smell coming off that thing would gag a skunk. Overall though it wasn’t too bad to use and the machine at the takeout that you dump it in was pretty easy to use.

Pit toilets weren’t luxurious by any means but I don’t know if I can get on board with packing my around for 4 days, especially when we’ve done it it’s been 80-90 during the days I mean it’s just baking in there.
