Enough to know I don’t want to use jacketed bullets anymore.

Well that is no more than personal opinion! Any well chosen bullet of any design will kill. Bullet's that somehow connect and destroy part of the nervous ssystem kill fastest. I have been using cup and core bullet's since my first hunting season. about 1958. When I've done my part the bullet's have always done theirs!
