Well I guess I’ll be happy shooting my 1-12” and the other guy happy with an 1-8.

The other guy can shoot a lot of bullets I find interesting that you cannot. I'd gladly trade that ability for a bit of theoretical barrel life.

Lots of opinions on this so I'll give mine. An animal the size of a mule deer deserves better (as in bigger) than a 22-250.
