At least it’s not like nhl regular season 3v3 where most of the period is spent by teams killing time in the defensive zone and not trying to score.

I'm going to disagree. Friendly rivalries are one thing, using hockey as a political tool is a whole different one. Plenty of people who have never watched hockey before the 2025 4-Nations tournament, or at all, have been using these Canada Vs USA games as means to spew political garbage. There's far more "Anti-Canada" chirping online than the other way around. You can't go one NHL playoff without Americans talking smack about how you win all the Cups (with Canadian coaches and players)...
That stupid 4-Nations Canada/USA video that's been going around lately is a prime example of that. People are using specific snips of games that make Canada "look bad", even though we won the damn thing. Ridiculous. Politics has no place in sports...

Guess i dont see such things at a high level of frequency but i'm sure they exist. I'm sure Canadians booing the Anthem at 4 nations didnt help.

Your President and his administration's incessant threats on Canada and their continuous attempts at undermining our sovereignty doesn't help. You may not be aware of the "high level of frequency" of such occurrence, but given that it 100% involves us, we most definitely are keeping track.
