Bride picked up movie popcorn earlier. Homemade oatmeal/walnut/banana/coconut cookies. Simple.

i like to do food for the Super Bowl based on the region the teams are from. Pretty easy this year, as New England and Seattle are known for chowder. Iowa doesn’t have clams but we have bluegills! Bluegill chowder is rich, and it’s delicious!

By law wings have to be served at a Super Bowl gathering. This gathering is HUGE!! The hugest of gatherings. So huge there are only 4 of us! These are squirrel wings with a sriracha chili lime sauce.


My wife wanted tacos. But we compromised with nachos. Guacamole was made by the kids!

A couple of tri-tips

Made pot roast with a chuck roast I had in the freezer as foggy grey weather rolled back into the North Bay Area. Did it in the instant pot with smoked paprika and plenty of warsh-yer-sister sauce. Was a hit with ML.
Also polished off a package of frozen Tyson buffalo wings I did in the oven. I didn’t feel like trying to be original on that.

No pictures sorry.

My daughter did make chocolate covered pretzels for a party she went to. Got the leftovers!
