Arnold match, worst officiated match I’ve seen in a long time

Arnold got absolutely SCREWED
I knew that ref wasn’t going to overturn his call, but that was 3. And then how else are you supposed to defend that guy around your ankle? Arnold’s been taught probably since first grade to kick out and now we can’t. call action and let them keep going. I’d feel that way if it was called for or against Iowa. Such b.s.

When was the last time Iowa gave up 2 pins in the same dual?
I honestly couldn’t tell you. Who would have thought Ayala would give up a tech fall?Score wise this went about like I thought, but it was a much better dual on the back half than the score indicates. Either way, my blood pressure is off the charts, my kids are scared to be around me right now from all the screaming, I’m disgusted and disappointed.

Make that 3. He got pinned in a navy tilt. No fight. Iowa needs to go back to the days when gable would drop them off downtown and not let them go home until the beat up the bar.

The ncaa needs to be ashamed of that referee. That was the worst I’ve seen in a long time. He made calls that I’ve never seen called like that before on multiple occasions.

What did I just hear at the end? 4x Iowas high schooler committed to Okie State??? How is this happening??

I didn't watch the match, but seems I missed a s--t show?
Let me be clear, it wasn’t the official who lost it for Iowa. The OSU kids, for the most part, wanted it more and they were better prepared. The stall call on Arnold is not right but that is the call according to the rule. I do think he had 3 for a takedown, but then the argument could be made facundo had 3 in that sequence with Kennedy. After 4 straight overtime matches Arnold needs to learn to be more offfensive and push the pace in regulation.

Pre seeds for the Big 12 tournament and the Big 10 tournament have been released. I havent really looked at them closely but there are always a few headscratchers that come out of these seeds. Jax Forest is the 1 seed in the Big 12 at 133 even though the 2 and 3 seeds are ranked higher on the national polls then he is. In the Big 10 Penn State has 2 guys that are seeded lower then #2. Davis at 141 is #7 and Mirasola at Heavyweight is #4. At 133, the deepest bracket in the nation has a true freshman seeded at 1 and the returning national champion at #2 even though he is undefeated on the season. At 165 despite a loss to Purdue's Joey Blaze, Caliendo is seeded 2 and Joey Blaze is 3. Angelo Ferrari is the #8 seed and Gabe Arnold is the 13 seed at 197. The only reason I can think of is lack of matches for their low seeds.

Angelos month and a half away really hurt his seed. Has to be one of Iowas worst representations of seeding in the big 10’s in a long long time. 165 and 133 should be a heck of a show

Perhaps the most puzzling seed is at 174 in the Big Ten. Levi Haines of Penn State is 18-0 and Chris Minto of Nebraska is 18-4 with at least one loss to Haines. To add further questions, Kennedy is 18-2 with a victory over Minto as well, but his two losses were to lower ranked opponents. It seems pretty logical that Minto would be seeded lower then Haines and Kennedy would have good argument for being the 2 seed. But the committee sees it differently. Minto 1, Haines 2, Kennedy 3,
