You should consider a winter cover crop to help break down all those amendments That have been added.Going to start a garden this year. Put some extra topsoil and grass mulch on a 36' x 48' area last year. Will need to fence it this spring to keep the deer out. Snow peas, lettuce, carrots, parsnips, tomatoes, chard, squash, and maybe corn for first yea
I use Austrian peas. You should consider a winter cover crop to help break down all those amendments That have been added.
The slow release calcium line was a joke. I just don't have a place to put all the junk after moving. I need sell some antlers this spring! Also too busy this fall to plant a cover crop. I would of had to water it as well, since this area gets very little precipitation, and then the weeds would have been my cover crop. You should consider a winter cover crop to help break down all those amendments That have been added.
