2026 controlled hunts

Got notified yesterday that my son and I were drawn for the nilgai/exotic hunt at Lower Rio Grande Valley NWR - Teniente in January. First drawn hunt for me in quite some time here. 11 points for both of us going into the drawing.

Got notified yesterday that my son and I were drawn for the nilgai/exotic hunt at Lower Rio Grande Valley NWR - Teniente in January. First drawn hunt for me in quite some time here. 11 points for both of us going into the drawing.

Congrats on the draw! My son and I were also drawn for the nilgai/exotic hunt on the Teniente tract, but we’re on the February dates.

I’ll be doing some e-scouting over the next month or two, and I’m happy to pass along anything useful I spot. If you’re open to sharing how things go in January and what you’re seeing on the ground, I’d really appreciate it. Either way, best of luck and happy hunting!
