I was surprised to see no mandatory CWD testing for deer hunts this year. And that the NW CO winter kill units went back to OTC for 2nd and 3rd rifle bull tags. I realize the winters since have been mild and the elk herd has recovered well, I was just surprised that I missed that change before it was published in the regs.
