I hope I didn't jinx them when I said the uniforms look like North Texas State. That's where Mestemaker and a few others played last year. In my defense, I didn't know where Mestemaker played last year.

Reminds me of the demise of Mark Helfrich among others who lost their DCs/OCs. It's still early in the season though. This game doesn't affect anything by itself. Oklahoma State lost to Tulsa last week and look what they did this week.

Coaches poll seems a little harsh on the Buckeyes and Ducks. Longhorns in the #1 spot, which I'd say they earned last night. 6 top ten teams in the SEC seems a little suspect, lots of football still in the season to see how this sorts out.
We have an expression around home that the only good thing about Philly is the F#$%ing road out, but Campbell"s Nittany Cyclones motored out of Philly with another win. Hoping they can hang around and beat enough B1G competition to end up with a top 12 spot in December. Saw some of the red flags we were warned about with Rocco, but when he's in the pocket and sets his feet he's a gunslinger.

The polls are obviously just guesses at the moment like they have been. Sample size of games is very small and if we went by "talent" Oregon wouldn't have lost. Were the Buckeyes really the #1 team? I have to doubt it considering hey lost a 20 point lead to Texas.

The SEC currently has the highest win percentage for out of conference Power teams. However, there are only a few out of conference games left since SEC is starting league play. Many of those teams play each other, so there will be losses. I can't say we know much either way.

On the plus side, eventually there will be the CFP, so we get to find out later this year.
