Got the hide back from the tannery today. Love the smell of tanned hides. My sheep hunt story is now over.

I knew I was busy last season, but not busy enough to miss this thread. Hot damn, what a great hunting story. Congratulations.

Opening day yesterday. Made it out but turned in to more of another recon mission than a hunt. Did see a handful of ewes and lambs. Replaced the trail cam with a different one. No pictures. Going to leave the new one up over winter. Got a road grouse. Good day.

I thought I was finished with this story, but I went and retrieved my trail cam that I set up last September 1 and wanted to share a few pics. I left it up over winter, and had no idea if it would work or not. Very surprised to see 2500+ pics over a 10 month span. Captured lots of deer, elk, sheep, moo cows, fox, mountain lion and antelope. Here are a few of my favorite.
