Of the 40 remaining picks we all have, 19 of mine are going to be from what I would consider the 6 most likely drivers to win the championship. I am not saving drivers anymore! That being said any of those drivers can have a crappy race, hopefully not when I pick them however. Good luck Dave! Make me earn it.

Charters are like membership cards. (bad comparison) Teams with charters are guaranteed starting positions in each race and they are guaranteed money for participating. Non-charter teams have to qualify on speed to run.

My understanding is they want the teams’ operating expenses to be able to be covered without having to rely so heavily on sponsorship and they want those charters to be made permanent. In other sports the franchise, essentially what the charter is, builds the value. Right now they only exist tv contract to contract and nascar uses them as a bargaining chip.
Just checked the qualifying results. Lucky guesses on my part! I'm not going to change a thing! Now I hope @BigHornRam picks some losers.
