2025 gear game changer- wows!

Epoch Outdoors Mountain Mag bino, spotting scope and arca rail adapters for my phone. Works seamlessly with MagSafe otter box case. Exactly what I’ve wanted, made in Bozeman too.
After years of trying to hold my phone up to my binos and spotter, I went with the Mountain Mag this year as well. Very happy with it. Fast and easy to use.

So using the Mt Mag with your binos is a pretty seamless operation? I saw their attachments a few months back and it looks pretty slick. Especially not having to buy a new piece of digiscope equipment when you upgrade your phone. I am using the Sig Zulu 6 image stabilizer binos and think using the Mt Mag system might be an excellent and easy setup.

Bought a new gmc pickup and it came with the new tailgate that folds down into a step. I rolled my eyes and made jokes about it. Until I had to load two deer whole into the truck by myself. Where have you been all my life.
Nick - That is nice feature - HOWEVER - beware if you have a hitch attached or you will nice dent and scratch next to your tailgate handle. The engineer that designed the new Sierra obviously never tested it with a hitch attached!!

Yah I had a buddy who got to experience that first hand, warn me. Its only a matter of time before it happens. Ive been trying to baby it but im pretty hard on trucks. Probably inevitable. Thanks though.👍

Worked pretty seamlessly for me to quickly throw the eyepiece adapter on and snap a photo or video in little time. Glassing with the eyepiece always on isn’t bad either. I bought just the spotting scope adapter at first and immediately regretted not getting the binos one and ordered it a week later. Snapped this photo through my binos in about 15 seconds before he stood up in a snow storm

Three years ago…7.4V electric vest with a couple 20,000mah batteries.

Current hunting setup has me exposed, no blind. Sitting on a ledge…with a lovely 10 degree breeze…

Electrics make my life so much more comfortable sitting still.

That and a good chair. Hunting got a whole lot more genteel.

Zip off long John’s. I don’t realize how much needed those in my life
My wife got me the Sitka long johns. They have been great. But if you have them be aware the tag goes in the front. 1st time I used them was at work and while standing at a urinal in a multiuse restroom a fishing expedition took place since they were on backwards. Left with the choice of dropping trowel or leaving I dropped them. Amazing how everyone reacts to that. lol

You had them on right they are Sitka. The Kuiu ones have the opening in the front

Battery powered heated socks have made mornings much more enjoyable. I know theyve been around for a while but they greatly improved my level of comfort.

I’ve considered this one for a long time as my style is a lot of movement with intermittent glassing. I prefer to hike with uninsulated boots but that makes the glassing miserable. Saw there are some merino options. What kind did you end up getting?
