2025 Colorado Leftover/Reissued Tags

My buddy just told me he was able to get the tag he wanted into his cart but when he clicked to pay the system logged him out and the tag was gone when he logged back in.

Two weeks ago in the original leftover draw, I snagged a tag and added it to my cart. I messed around and tried to grab another tag before checking out. For some reason, the system similarly logged me out when I went to the cart to pay. I was pissed, but got through the line in about 10 minutes and quickly checked out. It let me know that I had like 2 minutes remaining before it was going to return the tag to the list. I got extremely lucky with the timing. Essentially, you should have 15 minutes with the tag in your cart.

I know it used to work that way, but I heard they changed the system and having in your cart means nothing, you still need to checkout ASAP. Anyone find anything concrete about this recently?

Should still have 15 minutes. I added a tag to my cart immediately at the top of the hour, messed around trying to get another tag, ended up going back to the walking man/waiting page, and ended up getting back to the cart and checking out at like 13 minutes past the hour.

Another week. Same result. My brother and I clicking for a bull tag in our deer unit. He gets to confirm choice page but can't add to cart.
I don't even get to confirm page.

So i have had the confirm choice page on several occasions but cannot add to cart. I'm guessing this is because someone else is quicker on the clicker, is that correct?

Same, I play the reissue game every year and generally land something worth the effort. Today my mouse clicking skills paid off big...lucked into a First Season rifle tag in a decent unit.

So bear season is already in. Does anybody know if I can pick up a leftover tag at any license vendor, or does it have to be at a CPW office? Not enough time for it to come through the mail.

You can get one at walmart or anywhere that sells them
