No way I’d be able to sleep tonight! I’m not sure I could have held back and not made a move, but after archery hunting for a few years now, I’d say that I’ve learned that patience pays off more than I thought it would. I’ve always been one to make the most of the opportunity at hand rather than wait for a better one, but it seems like patience may pay off more often than not.

It would've been tough to not pursue him last night. Especially only being 1100 yards way... how far do you practice shooting out to? Shave 400 yards off and give him a finishing shot.

He’s at 941 yards. He was at 1,400 when we started this morning. Still over a mile to go on our original stalk plan. Lots of rough country to move through. Probably done updating for a while.
