Oregon should have a pretty good core to start out with and then also that stud wide receiver. Evan Stewart is back who didn’t play this year because of the patella tendon issue.

Dillion Thieneman is leaving at safety but Oregon picked up the Gophers safety to replace him out of the portal , apparently his a big time guy

Yeah, with everybody that’s returning Oregon should definitely be a top five team to start the season

I don't think it's a SEC thing. This thread has wandered a bit.

In any case, many teams have slid down hill after losing an OC or a DC. If I was an Oregon fan, I'd be worried about just promoting from within.

On the other hand, we fired our DC (Tennessee) and the new DC has brought in quite a few very good transfers. A perk of hiring from a known team ... in our case, the DC from Penn State who was the DC when Ohio State won their latest NC. Sure, it cost money to hire him. You guys didn't get much to promote from within.

It will be impressive if Oregon doesn't fall quite a bit this year. My SEC opinion.
