I take back all my predictions for Ohio State winning it all. At this point I’ll be happy to make it past Miami.

Any bets on how under-utilized the #1 receiving core will be??

Only hope I maintain is the saying ā€œdefense wins championships.ā€

I'm still feeling pretty optimistic regardless of who is calling the plays. This team is one of the better Buckeye teams I've seen in a long time. We beat TTUN and had a humbling loss at the right time....Nothing to loose now; I think we're in a very good position to win it all.

I agree, and I think any of the teams left are in a good position to win it all. As you know, OSU wasn't favored and went in with 2 losses, and still beat everyone last year.
Yep and the first year of the playoff they upset Alabama with a backup QB so I agree that anything can happen. That’s what makes college football so fun to watch.

Agree that the format is dumb. Notre Dame, Texas, and maybe vandy would have put up a better fight.

A&M got pretty lucky on scheduling.. I get that bottom half of SEC isn't a cakewalk but still the only ranked win they had was by 1 point in sept.

Sometimes, teams get lucky on their schedule. There are teams in most conferences that underperform.

For instance, Syracuse won 10 games last year and looked pretty solid early until their starting QB got injured. LSU, Florida, and SC were supposed to be pretty good, but they weren't. Then, there are the high ranked teams early in the year like ND, Clemson, and Penn State in the Top 5, but didn't perform that well.

Any of the teams, could go from hero to zero with the wrong injuries or targeting calls.

SEC is sucking so far
A&M loses at home to the ACC
Mizzou loses to the ACC
LSU gets beat by Houston !

So far the only SEC post season win is vs the SEC

Like my son txt me after the LSU game ……

And Ole Miss over Tulane dosent count

Conference bowl records are interesting, but kind of a bogus stat. Also, most of the better teams from the SEC haven't even played yet. Everyone has injuries, of course, but Missouri and LSU both played with backup QBs with LSU having lots of opt-outs. Unranked SEC schools were playing ranked teams. #19 VA beat unranked Missouri 13-7 and #21 Houston beat unranked LSU 38-35. Not exactly stomped. ;)

One thing is for sure, the PAC is better if we only go by the postseason record. They are 1-0, and they have no games left. The PAC champion WSU leads the way. :D

Let’s be honest, name image likeness dough is driving the bus now. The only thing relevant about a conference seems to be that Notre Dame isn’t in one.

Conferences do still matter, but it's causing parity in the conferences. There are some outliers like Texas Tech in their conference.

I'd add the transfer portal, too. There are quite a few players that declared for the portal. Not all teams let them play after they declare for the portal. Add those declaring for the draft and the transfer portal players, and the teams might not look a lot like they did earlier in the year.
