Is the OC gone already, or coaching through the playoffs? Times have changed in the past decade, but Kirby worked that out between Bama and UGA to coach as DC for Bama through the playoff game. I feel that it’s quite different for a coordinator to take a HC job and coach through the playoff, but I don’t know if that is even possible anymore.

I haven’t heard what the final decision is gonna be on that, other then he is the new coach of the Kentucky Wildcats

I read that Oregon was going to have him coach the playoffs. I haven't heard about what the DC is doing.

I believe (Bill-lieve?) there is no way they do this unless Colin Klein will leave TexasA&M OC job to return back to Manhattan.

I've been pleasantly surprised by his play calling. Sounds like he fully took the reins in 2025 and it's been quite a contrast this season to the typical conservative play calling from Ohio State.

I was nervous to see Chip Kelly go but at the same time, he called some really bad games for a guy that used to let it fly at Oregon. Hartline called a great game against Michigan. Even with the early pic by Sayin, they kept being aggressive which was much different then the play calling under Chip Kelly/Ryan Day over the last 5 years. No reason we should be 1-4 these last 5 years against the team up north.

It's Ohio State and they will constantly have turnover at those type of roles but this one stings a little more. I'm glad we will at least have him through the post season. He was a hard nosed receiver for the buckeyes that worked his way up to calling the plays. Pretty cool story. I know when I was playing in HS, everyone wanted to be the next Hartline catching TD's for Ohio State.

Ducks lost their OC to be the HC of Kentucky and sounds like our DC is gonna be the new Cal Bears HC …… can’t not see how that won’t affect my Ducks in the playoffs, our players are used to those guys being around

There should be a no contact period because you have players and other coaches have a great season then it can end in ruin because someone leaves for another position.
