It'll be tough sledding as usual, but I'm hoping my SDSU Jackrabbits don't skip a beat this year after losing Jimmy Rogers to Washington St.
I heard him speak and met the new Head Coach, Dan Jackson, at an event last month and he surely carries himself like a Head Coach. Sounds like they lost some guys that followed Rogers and obviously Gronowski left for a bigger program in Iowa, but I'm hopeful. I don't know if they'll be good enough to keep up with the bison for the conference this year, but I think another trip to the playoffs and winning a couple games is not out of question.

RUN RABBITS!🐰
I moved my son into the freshman dorms at Montana State yesterday, so I guess I'm now officially taking sides in the Cats/Griz rivalry after never previously having a dog in that fight.

Likewise, I'll be hoping the Jackrabbits run into a buzz-saw in Bozeman in week two! ;) But with Tommy Mellott having gone on to the NFL, I'm not sure anybody knows what the Bobcats will have this year.

Touchdown Tommy kept telling us how good his teammates were, but he was so outstanding it was difficult to recognize the others. Good news is that many are still there, so expectations are still very high. GO, CATS, GO!!!

There preseason #2 seems some folks are thinking their gonna be pretty dam good again this season.

Yeah. I think they said it’s a net loss of like 6-7k seats, but capacity will still be over 100k.

I drew MT elk combo this year, so between that and hunting up at our cabin in PA, dunno if I will get to a regular season game this year. The friggin ticket prices are just insane nowadays; and now that my daughter is a fanatic that increases my all-in cost by 33%.

We bought early for the SMU game and I think those tix were north of 270 each by the time Ticketmaster put me over the barrel with their exorbitant fees. If there’s a politician out there who wants my vote, they can run on a platform that neuters those crooks! 🤣
Word from Pat Kraft this week is temporary seating at Beaver will still be over 106k. Only losing 368 seats from last year.
They are still staying tight lipped about after the renovations. I'm guessing 108k+ to top the big house.
10 days to kick off. Im ready for some college football.

@jimh406 in 2019 the Grizz came out and lost 35-3 then in 2023 Portland State lost 81-7 so these games can get sideways, but then last year Oregon could barely handle Idaho and won 24-14 it was 17-14 with minutes left and Oregon completed a forth and short for a TD to go up 2 scores , I believe Oregon is bigger and faster than last years team but with less experience at QB and WR

Im interested in just watching them to see how this new Ducks team plays first time out and watching them to see new portal additions, got some nasty dudes come in on the Defense

Michigan is a 36.5 point favorite over New Mexico. I'm optimistic the Wolverines will have a good season starting only the 4th true freshman in school history.

I don't think they'll cover vs New Mexico however.
