Listening to a pod cast yesterday by some former Duck players who have connections to the progrum , said RB Jordan Davison broke his clavicle in the 1st quarter and played the whole game against Texas Tech and scored the 2 TD , that’s some crazy next level toughness.

@jimh406 Losing him is why I feel we’re toast , he had 8 carriers for 59 yds at a 7.4 avg vs Indiana in the 1st game and was the only guy that did anything on the ground. Oregon has to run the ball to win this game.

The only positive news this week is sounds like RB Jay Harris a 224 pound junior , who was buried on Oregon’s depth chart entered the portal and sounds like he has since backed out to help his teammates and sacrifice his senior year of playing for a lesser team where he could be a starter next season, an amazing act of selfless , he we be on the sideline to play tonight. Giving Oregon a 3rd RB option

I work evenings so if the games goes south for my Ducks šŸ¦† im not in hiding , I’m not off work till 1am , y’all won’t hear from me till 3:30 - 4am till I watch the DVR recording

Oregons D is gonna have to ball out again, and our SOPH QB and receivers have to have the games of their life !

I did turn in a vacation request if Oregon does win tonight , I can take the day off Monday the 19th so I can see it live. If we lose I’m just going to work that day 🤣

I have been a Hoosier (both by birth and by loyalty) my entire 56 years. When I was in HS we had a couple of decent years, but for the most part football has always been 2nd tier to most.....not me, I can't stand basketball for more than 2 minutes at a time. Hiring Cig was an incredible move and his (our) ability to make moves with NIL is a perfect example of parity that has been created. The portal/NIL system is jacked up, but ENITRELY the fault of the NCAA/Schools/Coaches arrogance with regard to massive amounts of money being made and distributed off of the effort of the players. We just happened to have plenty of money to go along with a great hire AND lil Mendoza bringing big bro to us. In my household we have 5 IU degrees.....we ARE Cream and Crimson no matter what. Success is just really nice to finally see. One, Two, you know what to do!!!!!!

It’s on !

This video was done some years back. Oregon got famous alum and their most famous athletes from other different sports and redid the toga party from animal House, which was filmed at the University of Oregon whatever Indiana has it’ll never be this amazing. ! Ha ha ha at the end of the video they put names to the faces in the video

They’ll get more in the NFL but I’m sure there getting 6 figure NIL money, being one of the top Alpha males on a college campus a with $1 million in your pocket with teammates you love being around and playing for with a coach you like , We are creatures of habit. He’s been there two years now, you get comfortable and sometimes change can be scary, especially when you’re not guaranteed a good team in the NFL and now you got the money and good team , I can see why guys want to stay an extra year or 2 in college , would be fun.

From my understanding, the NIL money for positions is kind of a set thing quarterbacks get this much running backs on through the list. It doesn’t really change the way, NFL contracts and other pro contracts with incentives and bonuses and all kinds of stuff the pros get , is my basic understanding

Yeah, cant imagine running round campus as a 21 YO making 6 or 7 figures and trying to be responsible rather than partying and indulging the ladies..

Seems like a lot of these elite D1 guys are pretty guarded now, and have a little more maturity, I’m guessing the football staff has some kind training for them on how to be careful, not saying all do , but I’ve been impressed with some of the guys and how they carry themselves

You know when I went to the Oregon game, we met one of the dads of one of the Elite dudes and he stays in Eugene and is there to mentor and watch over his kid, I’m sure there’s a lot of the kids that because of that money they can have family around them and not be alone

Lol. So, what do you do for work? "oh, my son pays me to make sure he doesn't mess up his life by getting into trouble or knocking up some college chick."

If it keeps going like this, Big10 didn't deserve more than 1 team in the CFP. ;)

Seriously though, we should have known this wasn't going to be good after the treat last night.

Still, a lot of time left.
