It's windy as hell. No power loss so far knock on wood. My oldest imhas asked about 47 times if a tornado is coming. He's petrified.

Do you guys can any tomatoes? Planning on putting in a big garden next year, tomatoes being the majority of what I plant. My sister makes alot oftomatoe juice every year and ill drink a pint everyday until it's gone. Also, electric fence or cattle panels to keep deer out of garden??

Never had deer in the garden. But yes we can a good amount of tomato sauce and salsa.

This year I froze almost all our tomatoes half or quartered and have been making them into pasta sauce. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to go back to store bought pasta sauce again

Nope just cut in half and freeze then when I had time thaw a couple bags out and run them through a tomato press

Really?! They don't get watery or anything? Vacuum sealing or just freezer bags?

They do get a bit watery but it cooks out as you make it into pasta sauce. Or let it sit in the sink for half a day or so and most of the water disappears. Takes about 6 hours or so of simmering to get a big batch made. Just freeze them in freezer bags nothing fancy
