True, but Wyoming shows me a lot more love.
NM is usually early by a week or two.

They taste a whole lot better. My girls keep asking me to shoot another calf next year! They said it’s the best meat they have ever had. They are 7 and 4.

This will never happen… but how cool would it be if after the draw closes the system sent you your randomly assigned number for each species?
If you’re super high, you can move on immediately knowing your app ain’t getting picked. If you’re low, you have a reason to be excited for a month. If you’re borderline, you can choose whether to be sad or happy.
Even with a low number you wouldn’t know which hunt you’d draw, but you’d feel “in the game”.

Oh the goal is to reck like 3 - 4 trains this year. More death marches, more mud, more tent attacks, black widows on pillows, and heavy packs. It’s the comedic relief for my year. It’s a better ab work out than my day job

It’s been exactly seven days prior to the published result date most years for quite some time. IIRC it has been fourteen days prior, and has been on the published date, but usually it’s seven days prior.
